Key Stage 4
At GCSE pupils study 2 religions. Christianity and Islam following the OCR syllabus.
Curriculum 2016 will mean that there will be changes to the GCSE provisions. Students opting for this subject at GCSE will still study 2 religions but the content will change. We are waiting for the QCA to approve the proposals of the Examination Boards. The RE department is looking at various options available to us and will make a final decision in terms of which syllabus and examination boards content best suits our students' needs once the final teaching specifications have been approved and published. We will update you once new information is made available to us.
