Learning Support Assistants:
Mrs A Khanbabapour
Throughout every students time at the school, we appreciate that there will be occasions when she will require help and support. This often arises in different forms and we pride ourselves on the quality and range of individual support and guidance we offer.
We acknowledge that some students may have Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND); the majority of these needs are met through the differentiation that is accessed within the mainstream curriculum and the interventions we offer as part of our personalised curriculum. Occasionally some girls need additional help. The Learning Support Department works with pupils, parents and external support agencies to ensure those with Additional Needs access the support, help and guidance they need.
Where appropriate, pupils are supported in class by a team of Learning Support Assistants who work closely with the SENCo and Pastoral Team. In line with the best practice, students are involved in setting their own targets which are then made available to staff as part of their Support Plan which is regularly reviewed. The school’s Special Educational Needs and Disability Policy is available from the school or can be downloaded from the policies section of this site.socially and academically.
