JCQ Exam Guidance
It is our aim to make the examination experience as stress-free and successful as possible for all candidates. The school produces an examination guidance booklet each year which is available to download in the 'Documents' area of this website.
The awarding bodies (or examination boards) set down criteria which must be followed for the conduct of examinations and Selly Park Girls' School is required to follow them precisely.
Some of the questions you may have answered at the back of the booklet that is available to download. If there is anything that you do not understand or any question that has not been answered, PLEASE ASK. If you have any queries or need help or advice at any time before during or after the examinations please contact:
Examinations Officer
All candidates receive an individual Summer examination timetable indicating the subjects being entered for any levels of entry, where applicable. Pupils should check these are correct. Some subjects have only one tier of entry. others have Foundation or Higher tiers.
Pupils must check everything on their timetable very carefully. In particular, they should check that all personal details (date of birth, the spelling of names etc.) are accurate as these will appear on certificates and it may be difficult to change them once certificates have been awarded.
A copy of the school's GCSE Summer timetable will be available in the 'Pupils' area of this website when it is finalised.
