All students at Selly Park Girls' School will undertake examinations including mock exams as part of their learning. It is our aim to make the examination experience as stress-free and successful as possible for all candidates.
Year 11 Exams

Year 11 students at Selly Park Girls' School sit two mock exams during Year 11 with a view to preparing them for their actual exams. Mock exams will take place w/c 15th October 2018 and w/c 4th February 2019. The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) have timetabled GCSE exams to commence on 13 May 2019 and end on 20 June 2019 with 26 June 2019 designated as national contingency day for GCSE examinations should sustained national or local disruption arise during the June exam period.
Year 11 Exam Arrangements
Students receive a personalised exam timetable with their seat numbers for each exam. Year 11 students are provided a quiet study base for revision in the Ann Rea building and students gather in the Ann Rea Canteen and Library for an exam briefing by heads of department before every exam.
The awarding bodies set down criteria which must be followed for the conduct of examinations and Selly Park Girls' School is required to follow them precisely. Please find links to our examination policies below:
